If you're stuck for present ideas at birthdays, anniversaries or Christmas then a hamper can make a great gift. Instead of buying one off the shelf, create your own and you have the chance to personalise it for whoever you are giving it too. A really thoughtful present is always well received.
Time: 20 minutes
Materials Hamper or basket
Selection of small sized gifts
The best place to start is with the hamper itself. You could be traditional with a basket style hamper or have a look out for interesting boxes, deep sided bowls or fabric baskets. They'll become a present in themself.
Lightly scrunch some tissue paper and place into your hamper.
Rather than a random selection of gifts, create a theme. Here are some ideas.
Chocolate and wine
Nestle the gifts in the tissue paper.
You can add some extra decoration if you like. Some ribbon, a bow or homemade gift tag.
These homemade chocolates were given a more luxurious feel by placing in a lovely bowl, wrapping in a cellophane bag and using a traditional brown paper luggage tag.
