"We are designed to feel good for our abundance to flow."

Hands up who doesn't want to be happy? That's right, all hands are down. We all want happiness. No one wakes up the morning wanting to be less. As humans we want to expand, we want to grow and shine. Deep down we want our material needs met and to help others. Below you will find a few things that lift your vibration and put you in a positive and happy frame of mind.

A gratitude journal from kikki.K

Step 1: Gratitude

Gratitude means to have a great attitude. Invest in a gratitude journal (like the one pictured, or you can make and decorate your own) and every day write down at least five things you're grateful for in your life right now. When you shift your focus to the positive, to the great and to the elements of your life that are going great for you, the universe will bring you more abundant things to be grateful for. That way you will be happier and the quality of your life will expand. You can begin by being grateful for having a roof over your head and a job that brings money in. As you grow your list will expand where you can be grateful for frequent holidays where you're flying business class; for having your own business and owning investment properties for instance. Gratitude puts you a high feel good state.

Step 2: Eat Out once in a while

Even if you can cook yourself, it is actually great when someone else cooks for you. Even if it is just once a week or once a month to begin with. Indulge in a buffet breakfast, or go to a tasteful restaurant that you wouldn't normally go to. As per the last step, be grateful for this experience and in no time you will start with "what am I going to eat tonight?" to "where will my next dining experience be?"

Step 3: Exercise

If at all possible, exercising in the morning is great. Exercise uplifts you and puts you in a positive frame of mine due to the feel good endorphins that exercise generates. You're moving and you're creating extra energy through being motivated. You can join a gym or a boot camp if you wish. Even just going for a brisk walk half an hour a day makes the world of difference to your happiness, health and wellbeing.

Spending time in nature is bliss

Step 4: Time in nature

As great as technology is, it can drain us. It is great to re-connect to mother earth every now and again. Enjoy a picnic in the park,or just chill out in the park. Otherwise spend some time walking in your city's botanical gardens. Nature is like meditation, its relaxing and sensual. Best of all its free.

Step 5: Time at the beach

Spending time at the beach is another cost effective way to raise your life force energy and level of happiness. Water has healing properties, and it is also great to rest and play in the sand. The beach takes many people away from the hustle and bustle of deadlines and noise.
