This sounds like a tricky one, but the stuff you see in cartons: grapefruit, orange and apple juice, doesn't require a juicer.
I've yet to master how to produce vegetable juice without a juicer, give me time.
This is a grapefruit-ginger and orange juice, which merely requiring a blender and a bit of patience.
I don't have the best juicer by any means, so I add some water to the blender, to get things going, but it also reduced the thickness of what seems like a smoothie, and makes it more juice-like.
Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
2 grapefruit
Chunk of fresh ginger
3 oranges
Pint of mineral water (optional)
Method
Peel the citrus fruits and halve/ quarter for easier blending.
Add the fruits to a blender along with a pint of mineral water and blend on high.
You can also grate the ginger into the juice if you prefer once the citrus fruits have blended.
Pour the juice into suitable receptacles.
Ideally drink there and then - this makes a refreshing and impressive drink when you've got people over.
The juice, however, stays fresh in the fridge for up to three days, which is how I tend to keep it, so it's ready the next day for work.
