Build A Bear

Build a Bear has grown to be an international success story. From its humble beginnings in St Louis, Missouri, the company now has over 400 shops worldwide. Their mission is to bring your favourite teddy bear or character to life.



You can build a bear for yourself or give it away as a gift to a loved one. Perfect present for a new baby or even a wedding gift.



Lots of different characters are available including bears, dogs, bunnies, dolls, Hello Kitty, Cookie Monster, Elmo, Mickey Mouse and many more.



Method
Choose your favourite character.



Select a sound (if it has the option). Sounds include a giggle, growl, I love you etc

Have the character stuffed in the stuffing machine by a Build a Bear Workshop employee. You can choose to have your animal to be soft and cuddly or firm



After the bear is stuffed, you get to put in a heart. Choose the heart, then rub it in your hands then kiss it and make a wish.



Choose an outfit. These can be mix and match separate pieces of clothing or full costumes. A large variety of clothing is available including tops, bottoms, shoes, socks, pyjamas, underwear, hats and headwear, bedding and furniture



Choose accessories such as glasses, sunglasses, electronics, purses, backpacks



Make a birth certificate on the store’s computer. You will need to fill out some information about your furry friend.

Build a Bear Workshop even can even organise a birthday party. Each party guest gets to make a stuffed animal they get to keep. Parties start from $15 per guest and each party is provided with a party leader who guides the children through the bear making stations. As weekend parties often fill up 3-4 months in advance, it’s a good idea to book well in advance.
