Make Melt and Pour Soaps

Forget all the messy chemicals and lengthy waiting time, using milk and pour soap is quick and easy, with perfect results every time.

Time: 5 minutes

Materials
White or clear melt and pour soap base (I use renascent)
Pure pigment Soap making dye
Fragrance
Mould - silicone, plastic, even an old muffin tray

Method

  • Cut your soap into small pieces.



  • pop them into a heatproof container and melt them using either a stovetop or in a microwave (if using a microwave about 30 seconds will do).



  • Add some dye, just a few drops and then colour up to the desired shade.



  • Add some fragrance, just a few drops and then a little more until you get the desired fragrance.



  • Gently stir together.



  • Pour into a mould.



  • Allow to set.



  • Pop out of mould.





  • Your soap is created.

  • Package up in a bag with a pretty ribbon for a lovely gift
