Tie a Looped Scarf

Tie a Looped Scarf

Posted 2013-05-03 by Natasha Stewartfollow
These days you can find circular scarves in most stores, but here's how to turn any regular scarf into a looped style. You've also got a bit more variety, leaving the ends hanging out, or tucked away. You'll need a longish scarf to pull off this look well.

Time: 2 minutes

Materials
A scarf

Method
  • Instead of placing the scarf around your shoulders as usual, drape it backwards so it runs across your neck.

  • Take one of the ends, and loop it back over the oposite shoulder.

  • Repeat with the other side.

  • At this point your scarf probably won't look too good. Grab the loop that is currently sitting underneath the two ends. Curl it over so that it now covers the two loose ends.

  • Adjust the scarf so that the loop is nice and full. At this stage you can leave the scarf as is, or tuck the loose ends into the loop.

  • Not only does this scarf style look gorgeous, but it's also great for cold days. If you're after more scarf information check out other scarf tutorials on Howtoi .
